My story begins right here in Tucson where I was born in 1976. Raised by two wonderful Christian parents I attended Grace Christian School until 8th grade at which time I moved on to try out the public school system spending my years at Santa Rita High School.
During most of my young life, my interests rested more in myself and my own desires than in God and his desires for my life. I found myself partying and involved with alcohol and even some drugs through most of High School. It wasn’t until 1994 when I was 17 that while at a summer camp I decided that my life had no meaning if it continued without Christ’s lead. From that point on I committed my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and have not regretted one moment of it. My life began at 17.
Since then the Lord has had me on a wonderful adventure that I am privileged to call my life. Having worked with a handful of different ministries in different states and countries, the Lord continued to return me to my home town to minister to the youth at Fellowship Bible Church. Spending six of the last nine years ministering at Fellowship Bible Church I have truly grown to see this church as my family and am honored to be called a pastor among them.
In 2002 I returned to school to finish my undergraduate studies at a private Christian college called Lee University in Tennessee. In December of 2003 I received a degree in Intercultural Studies, which is essentially a missions degree. Even more excitingly I met my wife Kristen in this year and a half and we were married a week after I graduated. After much prayer and consideration we decided that the Lord was leading us to return to Tucson to begin our life together.
My wife and I feel that we are both called to work in world missions which Fellowship Bible Church has empowered us to do by giving me the oversight of that area of ministry. We also feel privileged to be responsible for meeting the vital spiritual needs of new members as well as the college, career, and young married couples here in Tucson.
