At Fellowship Bible Church, the Mission Board’s focus is to educate, mobilize, and empower our body to facilitate the “Great Commission” (Matt. 28: 18-20), particularly among unreached people groups.

Our desire is to do this with a foundation of prayer support, always aware that whatever we do is because of the grace and power of our LORD, Jesus Christ.  We want to be in full compliance with His will for us.

We want to ignite an enthusiastic participation from our whole body at FBC to partner with our Missions outreach in some of the following ways:

1) Preparing people to become career missionaries 2) Participating in some type of mission trip 3) Praying 4) Supporting financially 5) Encouraging regularly of those going to the mission field.

We want to especially involve our youth so that they can experience cross-cultural relationships and see that our God is indeed a “global” God and prayerfully consider if they might be called to enter the mission field. Our desire is to provide them with a better knowledge base to know how the LORD is calling them to serve Him as individuals.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. ”Acts 1:8

What do we want to do?

Acts 1:8   We want to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.

From the Navigators:  We want to reach, disciple and equip people to know Jesus Christ and to pass that knowledge on through successive generations.

From ACMC:  To be a cross-cultural outreach & ministry for the purpose of advancing and extending the kingdom of God.

From Overseas Missionary Fellowship:  Through God’s grace and power, we work to see a biblical church movement in all people groups.

Why do we want to do it?

1 Timothy 2:3, 4     “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

2 Peter 3:9   “The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness.  He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Romans 10:13-15  “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”  How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Isaiah 6:8  Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?”  And I said, “Here am I.  Send me!”

How do we want to do it?

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
